It is tax time again
Yes, it is tax time again for non resident property owners in Spain.
At the end of 2022 the tax to pay is for the tax year 2021. As at December of 2020 the UK was still a UE member the British property owners are considered still as UE members and the tax rate will be of 19% instead of 24%. For the year 2021 the tax rata for all non tax residents will be of 24% therefore the tax bills will be slightly higher this year I am afraid.
